Spring Fever?

Today, I spent most of the day looking out my office window, wishing I was someplace else. With someone else. Doing something else. I only worked when the phone rang or someone asked me a direct question.

I don’t see how you medical people do it. With your jobs, it looks like you would never be able to have an “off” day. Or a bad day. Or a I just don’t give a fuck day.

I think I need a vacation.

Oh, I have those kinds of days all the time. I'm just not allowed to actually do anything about it.

Hi MBA - This past Tuesday was pretty warm around here and I had a lot of driving to do.

I love to put all the windows down,(a convertible would be nice)and the music up. I really love the exhilarating feeling of having my hair blowing all over the place and having that totally free feeling of being one with the road.

I was on route 80 and seriously had this urge to keep driving to see where I would end up.

I haven't worked since last May, but have felt tied down for other reasons. This girl is ready to bolt, break free and have some fun!!

The air smelled so fresh and then later it was the 1st night we heard all the night bugs. Won't be long before we hear the frogs in the pond too.

It's tough when you are having one of those spring fever days and the clock just seems to d-r-a-g. So-make up for it this weekend and have yourself a good time! :)

I think you need a new job, MBA. You could have written something to entertain us. You've been gone too long! The muse deserted you? What about a good lawyer joke?

I'm just in one of those moods; restless...

Here is a lawyer joke with a touch of medicine:

As the lawyer slowly came out of the anesthesia after surgery, he said, "Why are all the blinds drawn, doctor?"

"There's a big fire across the street," the doctor replied. "We didn't want you to think the operation was a failure."

I usually spend a lot of my time wishing *I* was someone else. Heh.

It took me a while to get that joke.

I R DUMB.

Ah, MBA, I'm with you. Let's break out into the beautiful weather and stick our tongues out at everyone. We can pretend we're Thelma and Louise and do random drive-bys of emergency rooms while guzzling gin. Okay, I'll leave my rifle at home...

Lynn,

Hmm, I do have a secret crush on an ER doc.

Pick me up in 20 minutes. Maybe we can drive by his ER first!

I'm there for you, MBA. Even though I'm an old married hag, looking is still free, isn't it?

Oh...we do have bad days--attend your very first "hospital christmas party" and I'm sure you'll find out. :-P

Bad days + Sexual Tension amongst coworkers = Good People Watching

Amusing - doctor's girlfriend. Your post reminds me of all kinds of things at the hospital. ;)

I know, we hospital folks are some horny people, I tell ya. ;-) (Possibly one of the other benefits of dating a doc...:-P)

DG: This a cyber crush, so unless they have cyber hospital parties, I am SOL.

Lynn: Isn't there a saying "you're married, you're not dead"?

Hey, a perv can dream, can't she? :o) Plus, I met my doc bf online through the personals, as a matter of fact.......! :)

A secret cyber crush on an ER doc, heh?

Ahem...if you and Lynn are driving to Crack City Medical Center, make sure you're adequately packed, locked and loaded a la Thelma & Louise. Our streets aren't exactly the safest.

I guy can dream, can't he?
