I get kinda nauseous* just looking at some of this food.
I think I'd bring my own lunch.
Or even better, I'd like what this doctor is having.
*Okay, to be honest, I don't know if I get "nauseated" or "nauseous". Just like I never know if I'm going to lie down or lay down.

I don't know how they expect sick people to get better eating this crap.
Just want to say I love your blog--you must be too busy at work. Hope it slows down just enough for you to be able to post more often!
After working in a hospital for 18 years I can attest that hospital food is just the grossest. But luckily they boot you out as quickly as possible so most don't have to endure it for long.
Actually it is not much better in the cafeteria in my experience.
See even HugeMD would like you to post more often!
You get nauseated. If you were nauseaus, you would make someone else nauseated.
Hi HugeMD. Thank you for stopping by. I've added your blog to my GoogleReader and I'm looking forward to reading it. I'm going to try to post more because I really miss my blog, but most nights it's a choice between sleeping and writing, and I always seem to choose sleep.
Oh JMB. I'm so glad you are back, even if I did have to strong arm you through Twitter.
Thank you Anonymous! I probably could have looked it up, but I was too lazy.
Hey, I'd pick sleep, too. Don't let any of us pressure you to do otherwise!
I'm warning you, if you're a divorce attorney and don't want to be reminded of work, you might want to wait until November or so to read my blog! :)
I'm with HMD and jmb -- wishing you'd post more frequently!
And holy crap. It's been so long since I've been in the hospital especially for any sort of stay involving food (or what passes for it) that'd I'd forgotten the horror.
The Horror!!!
I was in the hospital for I-131 treatment, and was supposed to be on a low-iodine diet. The doc told me I would be fed a low-iodine diet.
Nothing that came on the tray was on the list of approved foods, and they had nothing available that was on the list of approved foods except for a few juices and a banana (which I hate).
Good thing it was only 24 hours.
Hi guys! Good thing I checked your blog first, Amanda, because I was going to give you a hard time about never posting. I've added you to my reader now, so I can keep up with you again.
No divorce cases...too messy.
That's terrible saf. I'll bet you were starving.
I was in the hospital a few years ago and everyone kept talking about how good the food was. I wouldn't know because for the five days I was there, all I got was popsicles and broth.
