Goodbye MSG

Yesterday I read that MSG was retiring Creating the Godcomplex. I really hate to see him go. MSG’s blog was one of the first medblogs I found. I made one of my rare early ventures out of lurkdom just so I could ask MSG to write about how medical students learned to suture. And he was nice enough to do it.

I don’t know if other readers experience this, but sometimes I just “connect” with a blogger. MSG was one of those connections. I didn’t always agree with what he wrote, but I always felt like he was writing from his heart and I appreciated his honesty.

Good luck, MSG. I'm going to miss you.

Thanks for the heads up. Been too busy with real life to catch up on all my medblogs. Sad day...

I'm really bummed about him stopping, too...kinda funny that he deleted it by accident. :-P

I just started reading his a few weeks ago! I hope you aren't getting any ideas...:-P

You've been deleting again. Don't forget we subscribers see the posts on bloglines, and they stay there even after you delete them until we click on them.
Those medblogs are disappearing too often lately. What the heck are we going to read?
regards

MSG DELETED his blog by accident? YIKES!

MA - what have you been deleting???

Final episode of The Apprentice tomorrow nite!

Hi MA - I finally posted on my Apprentice opinions! :)

Yes, I deleted it by accident. It is actually quite easy to do, especially if you're in a clinic tinkering and try to save your work quickly while watching out for a nurse or doc to walk in. The only safe guard is a small box that is rather unassuming and has "yes" highlighted. Hit enter - as I did, and you're blog is gone.

Thanks for the kind words MA.

Cute Jokes, but you know we NEED lawyers! Just not so fun when on the wrong side of one, when they ARE pursuing something wrongfully as in that La Cross team's case. Or in Charity Doc's case, but then his lawyer would be the champion of lawyers.

Imagine if there were no lawyers..at all. O.k. - I admit a joke did just run through my mind, but it digresses from my point so I will be good.

Seriously, think of all the innocent people that would be trampled upon and railroaded, etc, etc, and yes it still happens, but good prevails too.

We went through something in the early 90's and at that time - when it started - I honestly , naively believed that ALL police, investigators, lawyers, and anyone in a position of power to get to the TRUTH would do just that. I believed they would all always uphold the law. I seriously believed that. I certainly didn't think they would put bogus info in the news papers knowing they would have to retract it-which is of course tiny and back on pg 33, somewhere, certainly not as obvious as front page news and they had the audacity to try to use it as evidence but the retraction worked in our favor. I never realized that they would with hold evidence that would've helped us. Sorry, I digressed. I guess we didn't watch enough tv at the time.

Thank God and in spite of what some of them tried to do regarding this case - they lost and we won!

Thank God for the good lawyers. :)

MBA, you'd appreciate this; I got thumped from being on a jury yesterday. I expected my early demise from defense since my neighgor is an ADA. But no...I was run by the prosecution. Was it my shifty eyes? I could see the writing on the wall when they asked everyone on the jury all sorts of questions during voir dire, and they never even blnked at me. Harumph. They didn't like me. They really, really didn't like me. I ought to go write a book...

Seaspray--I'm glad everything worked out. And good call on predicting who would be the next Apprentice.

Lynn--Those bastards. If I ever need a juror, you will be the first one I call. That is the way it works, right? I think I may have missed that class.
